Wendy enjoys painting chickens, otters, gators, and all sorts of other creatures, with a touch of whimsy. Originally from California, Wendy has lived in Seattle Washington and New Orleans Louisiana. Exposure to the colorful cultures and artists in these regions has had a great influence over Wendy’s creative inspiration. Her favorite mediums are watercolor and ink, and also acrylic paint on wood.

Wendy’s choice of subject matter ranges from chickens dressed in cocktail frocks or fluffy bathrobes to alligators playing jazz band instruments. She seeks out joyful ways to be creative.

Her work is displayed in her online Etsy shop and in several shops in the Sacramento area. It can also be seen in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, England and Australia.
